Welcome to the SFIE website

The SFIE represents and defends the civil servants and employees of the European and International Institutions. Its members number a least thirty nationalities and are organised in 15 sections in 9 locations.

Although its members come from very different backgrounds, they are all attached to the same ideals of democracy, solidarity and responsibility.

The SFIE has always been totally independent of all exterior influences, be they political or religious. It emphatically rejects any role as a corporate body interested solely in the defence of real or supposed privileges.
